Edmund halley discovered halleys comet in 1705. Although he was testing Newtons law of graveity saying that the comet has a patter and it will return in 1758. Unfortunetly Edmund died in 1742, although in 1758 his theory was proven right and halleys comet came around. here is a picture discription of what he perdicted.

Edmund halley discovered halleys comet in 1705. Although he was testing Newtons law of graveity saying that the comet has a patter and it will return in 1758.
