Pluto; a dwarf planet because it does not meet the expectations of a regular planet in our solar system. Over the last few decades sintest have come to the conclustion that pluto is in fact a dwarf planet. The reason that brought them to this conclustion is the fact that pluto does not have a strong enough gravitational pull to clear the neighborhood of its orbit. although it does meet most of the expections of a planet it does not have enough mass for a strong enough gravitaional pull. To be a planet a body needs to meet 3 main expections;
1. it needs to be in orbit around the sun
2. it needs to have enough gravity to pull itself into a spherical shape
3. it needs to have "cleared the neighborhood" of its orbit
